My name is Numaan. I am a Rohingya refugee currently living in Malaysia.

I am contacting MyCARE because I am very worried about my community near Ohn Taw Gyi Masjid in Sittwe, Rakhine State, Myanmar.

There are more than 400 families there, which could mean around 2,000 or more people. People in the community have told me that food has become very expensive, work is very difficult to find, and many families are struggling to afford food and basic medicines.

The people there asked me to raise their situation with humanitarian organizations because internet access in the area is very limited.

I am not asking for money for myself. I am asking whether MyCARE can assess this community and possibly provide or coordinate food, medicine, or other humanitarian assistance.

I can provide the location and contact information of people in the community who may be able to help verify the situation.

Please let me know if MyCARE can help or if you can refer this request to another organization working in Sittwe/Rakhine.
